Senior IC Design SpecialistAs a senior IC design specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical design and complete RTL-to-GDSII flow of complex integrated circuits.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physical design methodologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in achieving design optimization.Strong knowledge of Synopsys tools (ICC2, Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, etc.) and experience with 7nm / 5nm or below process nodes is highly desirable.You will collaborate closely with RTL, DFT, and verification teams to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Physical Design:Develop and implement efficient physical design methodologies to achieve optimal performance, power consumption, and area utilization.Collaborate with designers to optimize circuit layouts and improve yield.RTL-to-GDSII Flow:Lead the development and implementation of the RTL-to-GDSII flow, including synthesis, place & route, timing, IR, and sign-off checks.Work closely with verification teams to ensure correct functionality of the designed circuits.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RTL, DFT, and verification, to achieve design optimization and meet project deadlines.Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure smooth project execution.RequirementsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in IC design and physical design engineering.Deep understanding of physical design methodologies and tools (Synopsys, Calibre, etc.).Experience with RTL-to-GDSII flow and associated design tools.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
