Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect – Data to lead the design and delivery of data, analytics, and AI programs across Clinical, Commercial, and Medical Affairs domains.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data platform architectures for pharma clients.Build scalable solutions on leading cloud platforms using best-practice patterns.Develop data models and integrate pharma datasets from various sources.Produce solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.Lead technical delivery across multiple engagements.Conduct design reviews, guide development teams, and ensure high-quality, compliant delivery.Ensure adherence to Data governance, Security & Compliance.Oversee operational support activities, driving automation where possible.Contribute reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices for the practice.Apply practical knowledge of AI/ML or GenAI to enhance solution offerings.Identify opportunities to design solutions where AI can improve insights, automation, or workflow efficiency.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.10+ years in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership roles.At least 5 years of experience working in the Biotech/Pharma Industry supporting Clinical/Commercial business units.Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms & services.RequirementsExpertise in data lake/Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT patterns.Strong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modelling skills.Experience integrating pharma datasets & systems.Experience/good understanding of BI & reporting platforms.Understanding of regulated data environments.Proven experience leading multi-phase or multi-team delivery.Excellent communication and client-facing leadership.Good-to-Have SkillsExperience with GenAI, ML pipelines, RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector DBs.Master Data Management (MDM) experience.Cloud/Data certifications.CI/CD, Terraform, containerization (Docker/K8S).Deep understanding of specific business processes within the pharma value chain.Experience in designing and managing APIs for data ingestion and consumption.Why This Role MattersThis role plays a critical part in our team's success.
