Together, we build an environment where we can all thrive and focus on what matters most to each of us.Job PurposeGSK is seeking a strategic and innovative leader as the Director – Commercial Finance, Tech Product Owner, to lead the product strategy and deliver Tech solutions in Commercial Finance. You will also serve as the bridge between Finance & Commercial Stakeholders and the technical teams. This role requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting and a strong grasp of SAP (especially modules like SAP FI/CO, COPA, SD and S/4HANA).Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & PartnershipAlign digital strategies with business objectives across Finance and CommercialCollaborate with the Finance and Commercial stakeholders to shape and deliver transformation initiatives.Translate business needs into actionable technology strategies.Finance TransformationLead reengineering of core finance processes including Record to Analyse (Close and Control), Tax Operations, and General Finance Operations and Commercial (e-Invoicing, Billing).Implement scalable, cost-effective solutions.Define clear roadmaps and execution plans for products.Commercial Finance Technology LeadershipOversee all Commercial Finance Tech products and services, including SAP FI/CO, COPA, SD.Lead patching, upgrades, and ensure system currency without disrupting operations.Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations.Technology InnovationArchitect next-generation solutions that support dynamic business needs.Design and implement self-learning agents for cross-process optimization.Integrate AI solutions with existing ERP and financial platforms.Operational ExcellenceProvide L3 support and manage major incidents, including SWAT calls.Run AARs and ensure implementation of outcomes.Lead cross-product agile teams and manage backlogs for multiproduct assets.Performance & Continuous ImprovementDefine and monitor KPIs to assess digital solution effectivenessEstablish feedback loops and reinforcement learning mechanisms.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications:University degree or equivalent with 18+ years of total experience.Director level of experience in finance and procurement transformations.Proven delivery across at least three core finance processes.Deep expertise in AI, automation, and ERP integration.Extensive experience with SAP FI/CO, SDStrong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills in a matrixed global environment.Experience in agile and product management methodologies.Vendor management experience (MSPs).Preferred Qualifications:SAP certification in Finance/Commercial Tech product areas.Strong project and program planning skills.Ability to lead cross-cultural, virtual teams.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Inclusion at GSK:As an employer committed to Inclusion, we encourage you to reach out if you need any adjustments during the recruitment process.
