Job Breif

We are seeking a talented Unreal Designer with expertise in Blender and Unreal Engine

to create visually stunning, immersive, and optimized real-time environments. The ideal

candidate has a strong foundation in world building, texturing, materials, lighting,

motion graphics, and composition, combined with technical know-how to achieve

photorealistic and performant results.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, build, and optimize visually compelling environments, worlds, and interactive

scenes in Unreal Engine.

● Model and texture assets in Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, and

Photoshop, ensuring high-quality PBR workflows and proper UV

mapping/unwrapping.

● Apply physically accurate and stylistically appropriate materials to achieve

architectural realism and artistic goals.

● Implement advanced lighting setups (baked and real-time Lumen) and configure

post-processing to enhance scene mood and realism.

● Design cinematic sequences with Unreal Sequencer, including camera animation,

transitions, and visual storytelling.

● Create particle systems, VFX, and dynamic visuals with Niagara to elevate

immersion.

● Design and implement UMG interfaces with strong graphic design and motion

graphics principles.

● Ensure scenes are optimized for real-time rendering, applying level streaming and

efficient asset management techniques.

● Collaborate with developers and designers to integrate assets, lighting, and materials

seamlessly.

● Export/import assets across tools, including MetaHuman and character workflows.

● Conduct iterative testing and optimization to maintain balance between visual fidelity

and performance.

Core Skills & Expertise

● Strong proficiency in Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer, and

Unreal Engine materials.

● Expertise in lighting workflows (baked, dynamic Lumen, real-time optimization,

post-processing).

● Solid grasp of PBR texturing, UV mapping/unwrapping, procedural modeling,

and material creation.

● Experience with Niagara VFX for particle systems and effects.

● Knowledge of UMG design, with strong graphic design and motion graphics

principles.

● Strong sense of composition, visual storytelling, space, and realism.

● Familiarity with Blueprint scripting for design-driven logic.

● Knowledge of AR/VR workflows, including asset import/export and optimization.

● Understanding of level streaming, LODs, and asset performance management.

● Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or

equivalent Multimedia certification).

● Demonstrated portfolio showcasing photorealistic environments, cinematic

sequences, and real-time scene design.
