Compliance Specialist– Investment Management Job DescriptionAre you an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for investment compliance? Do you have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities? We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team in Investment Management.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of investment compliance reports. This includes reviewing and analyzing complex data, identifying discrepancies, and providing recommendations for resolution.As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of compliance processes. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively, will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.Required Skills and QualificationsUndergraduate degree in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, business administration or equivalent work experience5 to 8 years of investment industry experience with basic understanding of investment vehicles (Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives, Equities and Senior Loans)Good understanding of Aladdin rule coding platform is a must. Rule coding experience with Aladdin is an added advantagePrior knowledge of regulatory rules around 1940 Act and UCITS would help in this roleSomeone who understands asset class hierarchy, their characteristics, their exposure calculation methods would be a requirement in this roleFamiliarity with various platforms and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Aladdin, PowerBI)BenefitsExcellent team interaction and people skills (verbal and writing skills)Ability to work in a challenging environment as we may have varying workloads and strict deadlinesAbility to resolve problems utilizing appropriate resources independently and creativelyMaintain strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, project leaders, and internal/external clientsFlexibility to work in shiftOthersWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
