The Team

Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Work you’ll do

As a Senior Consultant/Manager in our Consulting team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:


  • As part of the Deloitte delivery team, your primary role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance, issue resolution and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • You will understand requirements, create and review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.
  • You will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews.
  • You will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.

  • 8+ years of solid experience working in a software product development organization building modern and scalable web applications.
  • Proficient in coding language - Scala, should have strong experience in developing applications using Scala as functional language.
  • Proficient in RESTful Webservices. Strong problem-solving skills should be able to come up with optimal solution for complex data structure problems.
  • Fluency in Hadoop technologies, e.g., YARN, Spark, Storm.
  • Must have clear understanding Mongo DB concepts.
  • Experience in Cassandra is preferable Proficient in code management tools like Git.
  • Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins.
  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies and make assessment on their suitability to different engineering problems.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
