As an Engineering head, you'll play a crucial role in this mission by crafting the robust core of our platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building SaaS-based software or managed services and a proven track record of leading a team of engineers. You'll engage with customers and leading sustainability experts from across the industry and build a platform for tomorrow fulfilling all the sustainability needs of Medium scale and enterprise companies. The platform includes, but not be limited to customer facing, customer support and GenAl enabled apps.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers, fostering a collaborative and
high-performing team environment.
• Architect, design, and develop a full stack SaaS based or Managed service
platform with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee the development and deployment of cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging best practices and modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Engage, plan and implement new sustainability requirements with industry leaders.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, automated testing, andcontinuous integration.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process.
Required Experience
• Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in one or more domains of Sustainability, Ecommerce, Retail, supply chain, Data Analytics is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on full stack development.
• At least 4 years of experience leading a team of 8+ engineers.
• Extensive experience in building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Proven expertise in developing SaaS-based software or managed services.
• Proficient in modern programming languages (JavaScript, Java, GO) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, NestJs, NextJs, VueJs).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Already have implemented large real-time and batch processing pipelines
Preferred Experience
You already have implemented a SaaS based medium sized platform
You got your hands dirty with Al landscape and have worked on ML pipelines Event driven Architectures
