About Us

Our Technology Solutions Sales organization(TSS) hires dedicated technologists as Applications Engineers (AEs). An AE isthe primary link between our customers and our product team building pioneeringtechnology solutions. It is both a deeply technical role and one that requiresentrepreneurial thinking, an understanding of the sophisticated IC digitaldesign challenges, and a flexible approach to help customers get their designsdone using Aprisa solution. It is expected to remain highly organized in aconstantly evolving environment, balance multiple considerations in quickdecision-making and prioritization situations, and manage professionalrelationships inside and outside the organization.

Successful Aprisa AEs work with customersand potential customers to identify technology or operational challenges intheir existing physical design flows, then use developing relationships anddeep knowledge to lead the Siemens team to a successful evaluation, sale, anddeployment of Aprisa to solve the customers’ problems.

What role will you play?

You must possess a deep digital design experience in EDA or IC industry, are ready to lead pre-sales customer engagements to win business, and eager to grow the footprint by defining and driving post-sales expansion plans. Superb interpersonal skills and a high emotional intelligence, with an ability to navigate different frames of reference among collaborators, such as R&D or account teams, during engagements covering complex technical, and business topics. Ability to build strong customer relationships, align with account team on business opportunities, and serve as the key field resource to gather and communicate competitive threats and opportunities Must be customer-focused but balance that with a keen awareness of how business return on investment advises technical engagements. You may even have had to lobby your employer get additional resources to meet support standards or - with regret - to fire customers.

We are looking for

B.Tech/M.tech in Electrical or Computer Engineering. If you have a Master’s, you have an advantage in applying. The candidate must have proven experience of five or more years in EDA or the IC design space. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of, and working experience with, Innovus, IC Compiler I/II, Aprisa, and/or Nitro-SoC. Hands-on expertise in RTL to tape-out digital implementation, including synthesis, place-and-route, PPA closure, and related sign-off verification. In-depth knowledge of FinFET-related PPA and time-to-results challenges with understanding of the digital implementation tool market, industry operation, and competitive offerings. Must be able to talk about floor-planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, signal & power integrity, and static timing processes. Proficient in expert-level scripting skills (TCL, command line *nix) and a good understanding of Verilog and UPF data formats The primary location for the role is Bangalore, India.
