Job Title:Software Engineer in TestAbout this roleWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our Australian engineering team. You will work to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our web and mobile applications.You will work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, implement, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.Develop and extend test frameworks in JavaScript / TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.Analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Requirements4+ years of experience in test automation with the Cypress framework.Understanding of test design patterns and automation best practices (Page Object Model, data-driven tests, etc.)Experience in API testing using tools like PostmanExperience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Benefits100% Remote work environment.Flexible working hours - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.End-of-year complimentary time off.No time tracking software or micromanagement of tasks.
