Cloud Container ExpertThe Cloud Container Expert plays a pivotal role in the orchestration and deployment of modern application ecosystems.Provides technical guidance on cloud-native platforms, containerization, and Kubernetes services.Performs validation, configuration reviews, and environment assessments to ensure seamless workload migration and deployment.Supports setup of container add-ons, monitoring, ingress controllers, and network modes.Guides teams on image management, registry policies, and secure CI/CD integrations.Workload Transition & ModernizationAssists in containerizing workloads by providing refactoring guidance and optimizing Dockerfiles.Provides best practices for preparing applications for cloud-native environments.Supports application and DevOps teams during workload deployment, cutover, and post-deployment validation.Evaluates dependencies such as config stores, secrets, persistent storage, messaging endpoints, and service mesh integrations.Networking & SecurityConfigures and validates networking models (CNI, kubenet, private clusters, VNET integrations).Implements network policies, ingress/egress configurations, and service connectivity patterns.Ensures secure container governance (RBAC, Azure AD integration, pod security standards, and secret management).Operational ExcellenceTroubleshoots container clusters, node pools, deployments, scaling, and runtime issues.Implements observability using monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and container insights.Creates and maintains runbooks and checklists for container platform lifecycle management.Collaboration & EnablementWorks closely with architects, DevOps teams, and application owners to translate requirements into container-native implementations.Participates in technical reviews, readiness sessions, and environment planning discussions.Mentors engineers and guides teams on cloud-native best practices and Kubernetes fundamentals.
