Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our technical integration team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java and related open-source technologies, particularly focused on developing robust REST APIs and microservices within the financial services sector. This role will involve working on large-scale integration projects that require strong technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Overall Responsibilities:

  • Java Proficiency: Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with Java 8+ features.
  • Framework Expertise: Utilize solid experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Microservices: Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful service design.
  • Database Management: Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
  • Familiarity with Java development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and NetBeans.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Java Development:

  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Proficient in using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.

Microservices:

  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful service design.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Database Management:

  • Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with database design and management using MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Development Tools:

  • Familiarity with Java development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and NetBeans.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development.
  • Experience working with Java frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with database design and management.
  • Experience working in a team environment.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Coding: Write and maintain Java code for various projects.
  • Debugging: Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the cross-functional team to find the best solutions.
  • Testing: Test and validate the Java applications for accuracy and performance.
  • Learning: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Java technology.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Java programming is a plus.
