Responsibilities
  • Design and produce animations for game characters, environments, UI elements, and special effects.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to align animations with gameplay and artistic vision.
  • Bring personality and emotion to game characters through fluid, realistic, or stylized animations.
  • Create VFX animations to enhance gameplay dynamics and player engagement.
  • Optimize animations for performance across multiple devices, particularly mobile platforms.
  • Support the team in creating cohesive and engaging animation styles that align with each game’s aesthetic.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in animation design, preferably for online or mobile games.
  • Strong proficiency with animation software (e.g., Spine, Unity, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools).
  • Solid understanding of character rigging, keyframing, and game-specific animation techniques.
  • Knowledge of animation principles, motion timing, and visual storytelling for gaming contexts.
  • Ability to create both 2D and 3D animations.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with particle effects, VFX, and shader animation.
  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engines.
  • Understanding of character design, game physics, and interactive animation techniques.
  • Background in visual effects (VFX) for enhanced in-game elements, like explosions, spells, and dynamic environments.
