Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience
Job Description:
The Manager - Finance & Accounting will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial and accounting operations at Y-COOK. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Manage all finance and accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, including reporting and analyzing variances.
- Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Revenue & Cost Management:
- Manage and control revenue at the product level for domestic business operations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and optimize business performance.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Undertake additional controller duties as necessary to support the finance and accounting functions.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: This position is based in Bangalore, and candidates must be willing to work from the Y-COOK office.
