Position: Area Sales Manager
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4 + years
Job Overview:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in both government and private sectors, focusing on clients such as CPWD, PWD, MES, and privately owned commercial and industrial buildings. This role demands a strategic approach to sales, excellent relationship management, and a strong understanding of product specification with architects, contractors, and builders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate both government and private sectors effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and builders to specify and promote our products for various projects.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing dealer networks while actively seeking opportunities to create and develop new dealer partnerships.
- Understand and prioritize revenue generation activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges in the assigned territory.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Candidate Requirements:
Education: Any graduate and undergraduate with relevant experience
Experience:
Sanitary ware , Experience to work with tiles , Paint industry
Preferably from the building industry (excluding cement or paint).
Prior experience dealing with government departments and private sector clients is a plus.
Ex-army/navy/airforce officers are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Strong understanding of revenue generation and business development.
Ability to work with and understand government procurement processes.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Result-driven mindset with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Location: Must reside in or around Goregaon East, Mumbai , Willing to travel outside the Mumbai on monthly bases.
