Role - IIB Middleware Developer

Location - Pune (Hybrid)

Type - Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IIB Developer to join our middleware team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB). You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver robust middleware solutions that enable seamless communication between diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
  • Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Document design, development, and operational procedures.
  • Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed (e.g., MQ, REST/SOAP services).
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Support production deployments and provide post-deployment support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
