Average GCP skills are fine as the talent needs to interact more with application team to fix issues in DevOps area, GKE, manage clusters etc. As this is a niche skill requirement, they don't want to spend time in training the talent and he/she should be able to pick up from day one.Required Skills:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experienceLooking for a premium resource with skill set on GCP, Kubernetes, hands-on knowledge in GKE and DevOps tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Hashicorp, GHA) – around 10 years experience.Act as consultant and SME for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.3-5 + years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), with a focus on IaC and immutable infrastructure, PaaSIn-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKE Enterprise, kubectl, Serverless, BigData and Data analytics native offering such as Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BQ and other technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.Good to Have:Software development experience in one of the OO programming language: Java, Go or PythonUnderstanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility.Strong background of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.Understanding of Traffic Flow Management, to include Service Mesh concepts, with experience in Istio preferred, as well as how GTM and LTMs manage traffic flows.Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus and OTEL.FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferredAbility to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutionsConfirmed support of production systems at scale.Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
