The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.Education and Experience:BE / B.Tech in Mechanical engineering with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.Experience in Medical / Electronics / Product design systems design is desirable. Competency / SkillHands on experience: Successfully executed at least one project and currently working or worked within last 3 months in the relevant area.Basic Knowledge: Exposed to the topic and has a fair understanding of it and its applicability in design. Should have referred the data in the current project or in a project with in last 6 months.Electronics packaging designEnclosure and other mechanical accessories design (Machined, sheet metal and casted parts) for electronics packaging.Mechanical design of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and CCA (Circuit card assemblies)Design of parts with plastics like nylon, glass reinforced nylon etc.Design of parts with plastic injection moulding, extrusion process and rapid prototyping.At least 50% of the Product design and development lifecycle (Requirements → Design → verification → Prototyping → Qualification → Production)m.Good to have working experience with Windchill (PLM), SAP and CorelDRAW tools.Job Description:The candidate shall own and successfully execute on time WITH MINIMUM SUPPORT, the listed (not limited to) mechanical engineering and allied activities.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, ECAD, Reliability, Industrialization, Project management, Quality, Etc.) to design and/or realize the product.Comply with applicable organization specific product design and development processes.Generate the design of enclosure and other custom designed mechanical accessories for the product.Generate mechanical design of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and CCA (Circuit card assemblies) and validate the PCB / CCA mechanical design received from ECAD (Electrical CAD).At Thales, we're committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
