Job Description:Job Title – Analyst - Data Analytics and InsightsAs a member of the Fidelity Legal Risk and Compliance (L.R.C) Data Analytics team, you can give an edge to your professional career by working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and exciting environment at Fidelity Investments. Acquiring data and analyzing that information is key to success in this role. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge, develop skills and learn from leaders while experiencing the various facets in the financial domain.The Purpose of This RoleAs a Data Analyst in L.R.C organization, you will be working closely with members of Fidelity's Corporate Audit, Compliance, Risk, and IT functions to find opportunities where data can provide insight into risk. You will participate in all phases of a data analytics project lifecycle – from framing the business question/hypothesis, identifying the appropriate data sources, sourcing the relevant data, performing sophisticated analytics, and reporting on the results. You will use data to answer ad-hoc questions and develop data-centric solutions that will be deployed to users' enterprise wide.The Value You DeliverDevelop new solutions and tools that risk professionals will be used for proactive risk identification across the firm.Use visualization technologies to uncover insights.Work across the Enterprise Risk Management group to apply data analytics, efficiently use automation that can reduce manual testing or non-valued processes.The Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical / BehavioralYou have working knowledge or have experience working with any Relational databases and awareness or working knowledge of PL/SQLYou are experienced in languages/technologies such as Java, R or Python You have either knowledge of or have developed interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or QlikViewYou have used or have knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx and InformaticaYou have significant analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent assessmentsYou have good interpersonal and communication skillsYou show keen attention to detail, collaborative and ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentThe Skills that are Good to Have for this roleYou have experience working with an Audit, Risk, or Security functionHow Your Work Impacts the OrganizationL.R.C team protects the interests of our customers, our employees, and Fidelity's brand.
