Network Engineer Job DescriptionThis is a challenging role that requires extensive experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on designing, configuring, and implementing custom infrastructure solutions for client networks and data centers.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking concepts, including routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, as well as experience with industry-leading cybersecurity solutions from vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.Key Responsibilities:Design and configure VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access for clients, employees, and partners.Implement and manage various routing protocols to optimize network traffic flow and performance.Collaborate with the sales team in a presales capacity to present technical solutions to clients, demonstrating the value of proposed network architectures.Provide advanced technical direction on network engineering activities, ensuring the design and implementation of robust and secure network solutions.Develop and enforce network security policies and best practices to safeguard clients and the organization against cyber threats.Assess current network systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and security.Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking infrastructure.Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science, plus 6+ years in network engineering.Hands-on expertise with Juniper QFX, EX, SRX, and Apstra.Strong understanding of BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, LACP, MTU, LLDP, and IP fabric design.Experience in 24x7 operations; ability to join On-Call rotation and travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: JNCIP
