Job Profile: Technical Architect

Job Responsibilities:


  • Define the strategic vision of the enterprise through the integration of IT architecture solutions, complex design patterns, technical strategy and blueprints which forms the basis for application architecture across the enterprise.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools in the .NET ecosystem to identify opportunities for innovation, performance improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Develop flexible, adaptable, modular and reusable business solution architecture designs in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams.
  • Work adopting an agile SDLC model (Scrum) and ensure development delivery schedules are being met and manage feature design, implementation, and automated unit test development etc.
  • Implement appropriate solution architecture governance processes and tools while maintaining a key focus on design patterns and technology standards.
  • Develops company business system architecture plans and reviews the cost and feasibility of system requests while ensuring the plan supports the strategic needs of the company.
  • Support evolution of architecture blueprints & reference models and facilitate their enablement and adoption within the enterprise.
  • Maintain a repository of architecture assets (Platforms, Services, APIs) and promote effective reuse across the enterprise.
  • Experience in Integration Architectures from Service Bus to API Mediation and Event Bus models
  • Develop quantitative benchmarks to assess the performance of new architecture vis -- vis current architecture, prototype, characterize and test new technology stack.
  • Lead the Development team to produce technical designs, estimates/HLEs and deliver on functional requirements, while also owning the non-functional requirements (scalability requirements, Performance/resiliency requirements, etc.).
  • Research technologies and lead POC development, to ensure feasibility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business owners, product managers, and other technical teams, to understand requirements, define architectural goals, build architectural solutions, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the software development lifecycle, driving initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Identify architectural risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues to ensure the success of .NET projects.

Skill Set:

  • 16+ years of experience in Microsoft Technology Stack, including Microsoft.NET 4.5+ and Core Platform, WCF, WPF and Cloud platforms, in development of Web, Desktop and/or Mobile applications, using architectural patterns such as CQRS among others and best practices.
  • Must have at least 2 cloud native application implementations with a mixture of cloud native services and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
  • Should have designed Microservices Architecture in at least one project with Service Mesh.
  • Experience in cloud native services such as Event Hubs, Azure Key Vault, monitoring solutions such as Azure Data Explorer and App Insights.
  • Must have very strong expertise in Azure Cloud platform and having another cloud provider expertise will be a HUGE plus.
  • Should have designed and architected large-scale enterprise solutions using Microservices architecture.
  • Experience in modern programming languages/technologies including .Net, Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, Node JS and Azure stack.
  • Must have at least 2 implementations of containerized solutions using AKS and has the implemented auto scaling capabilities based on resource usage but also using functional auto scaling such as KEDA or something similar.
  • Expertise required using message queues such as KAFKA and Rabbit MQ are essential.
  • Must have implemented at least one high volume solution which processes transactions in Millions on per day basis and accessing a multi-terabyte database.
  • Strong expertise in RDBMS and No SQL Database with at least one high volume implementation of a solution with No SQL Database.
  • Web Based implementation using Angular/ReactJS is essential.
  • Python development experience and implementation experience is a HUGE plus.

  • Strong experience in multi-tenant application modelling / configuration / customization, process orchestration, services orchestration, and enterprise-grade authentication services and external system integration frameworks.
  • Stronghold on latest technologies, SaaS architecture, design pattern to lead long term scalable, stable and flexible cloud solutions with security, OWASP and SOC2 compliance.
  • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services including Worker Role, App Services, Web Jobs, Scheduler, Service Bus, Logic Apps and Event Hub.
  • Strong, proven problem - solving skills with the ability to quickly analyse the most expedient method to recover business operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Loves to explain the technology and has a gift for concisely explaining complex topics.
  • Experienced in working with standard tool suites (JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP ALM, SPIRA Team, TFS etc.) and techniques
  • Exceptional ability to gather functional business process requirements and contribute to translating user requests into functional specifications like FSD, SRS, FRS, UATs, Design Documentation
