The company is headquartered in Singapore, with offices in India and the UAE.Role OverviewAxslogic is seeking an experienced and hands-on Software Engineering Lead to join our team and drive the continuous enhancement of our unique product – Winnow™ - a patented cloud-based platform that provides Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to financial institutions. The ideal candidate will seamlessly play a dual role of individual contributor (as a coder) as well as team mentor and manager, balancing delivery, people growth, and technical depth. The candidate will lead a team of engineers working across Java (Spring Boot), React, and Python microservices.This role requires strong expertise in Product development practices, deep hands-on experience with Java, React and Python, and a thorough understanding of IT security and high volume computing architectures.Key Responsibilities:Lead engineering delivery for product features and releases.Manage and mentor the software engineering team (career discussions, 1:1s, hiring, onboarding).Contribute directly to codebase (~40%-50% time) on critical features and complex integrations.Drive code quality via reviews, architecture guidance, security guidance and knowledge-sharing.Ensure delivery predictability by coordinating with QA, Platform Engineering, and Data/ETL team.Balance SaaS and Managed SaaS deployment demands, working with DevOps/Platform team.Foster a strong engineering culture of ownership, learning, and collaboration.Required Qualifications:8–12 years of software development experience with 2+ years in a lead role.Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and React; exposure to Python microservices preferred.Experience with cloud deployments (AWS or equivalent), CI/CD, and observability.Proven ability to manage hybrid teams (remote + office).Track record of balancing coding, mentoring, and people leadership.Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to ML/LLM-driven microservices.Experience with CI/CD practicesExperience in fintech/banking products.Knowledge of SaaS and client-VPC deployment patterns.Understanding of financial services domain, particularly lending analyticsEngineering Graduate from a top-tier collegeWhy Join Us?Work on Winnow™, a cutting-edge patented SaaS platform that provides pre-programmed early warning capabilities and state-of-the-art reporting and analysis for financial institutionsSupport a robust solution with over 1500 Alert Thresholds, 250+ Reports with multi-variate segmentation over 60+ dimensionsDesign and build a platform that disrupts traditional manual processes in financial risk managementUse cutting-edge ML and AI tools to deploy innovative solutions that use Agentic AIWork with a strong management team with significant domain expertise in Commercial Lending, Banking, and Consumer Financial ServicesFlexible working arrangements and a collaborative team environmentJoin a global team with offices in Singapore, India, and the UAEAbout Our Technology StackOur Winnow SaaS platform is implemented using world-class platforms and requires expertise in maintaining a secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure.
