We are expanding our services in the field of sleep science and are looking for experienced sleep scientists to assist in scoring home sleep studies for the duration of a new project. This is an excellent opportunity to gain project-based work experience while working remotely.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented sleep scientists to join our team on a project-based contract. The primary responsibility will be to accurately score home sleep studies following industry-standard guidelines. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, with a strong focus on timely and precise results.

Key Responsibilities:

•Analyze and score home sleep studies (e.g., polysomnography, home sleep apnea tests) based on AASM or client-specific guidelines.

•Identify key sleep-related parameters such as apneas, hypopneas, RERAs, periodic limb movements, and oxygen desaturation events.

•Ensure high accuracy and consistency across all studies.

•Meet the established turnaround times for delivering scored studies.

•Collaborate with the management team to maintain quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sleep Science, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field.

•Certification in sleep scoring (e.g., RPSGT, CCSH, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.

•Minimum of 1-2 years of experience scoring sleep studies, especially home studies.

•Strong understanding of AASM guidelines and sleep scoring standards.

•Experience with sleep scoring software (e.g., Compumedics, SomnoMedics).

•Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
