US Accounting ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled US Accounting Professional for a full-time remote position with an independent organization in the USA. This role offers excellent growth opportunities and direct collaboration with the team.Key responsibilities include:Oversight of core financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.Preparation and maintenance of accurate estimates, invoices, and reconciliations for vendor and customer accounts.Calculation and remittance of sales taxes and royalties, ensuring timely tax filings and documentation.Leadership of monthly financial closing and delivery of accurate financial reports within defined timelines.Performance of journal entries, accrual accounting tasks, and support for external accounting firms during quarterly and annual tax filings.Monitoring of company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance, generating assigned financial and operational reports.Provision of financial guidance to leadership and coaching of junior staff on financial data to support better decision-making.Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations.Participation in weekly learning pathways to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.Adherence to professional standards and demonstration of strong professional and interpersonal skills.Required skills and qualifications include:Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite.Strong understanding of US GAAP, federal & state tax regulations, and US compliance frameworks.Experience managing end-to-end accounting cycles, including AR/AP, GL, inventory, and financial reporting.Familiarity with restaurant/retail-style accounting structures (preferred).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or equivalent US accounting certification preferred.Proven expertise in US taxation, compliance, and statutory reporting.Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness.Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
