Technical Support Engineer Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess excellent technical knowledge and communication skills.The successful candidate will work closely with our Client Success team, providing Tier-2 support for software issues and collaborating with Engineering to debug and resolve them.Offer technical support to internal & external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.Coordinate feedback & inputs to the development team based in India.Assist QA lead with QA activities.Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal development team support.Communicate with internal & external customers to quickly identify problems.Suggest workarounds for customers when fixes will take time.Provide timely & accurate customer feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.Support new application rollouts.Document procedures.Manage multiple cases simultaneously.Evaluate & test new releases.Pose innovative solutions for smooth operational processes.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.US hours (9 am - 6 pm CT).3-5 years of tech support experience with web-based applications and mobile interfaces.Knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS.Proficiency in browser debugging, JSON, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.Experience with remote desktop apps and help desk software.Ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello.Communication skills, texting apps a plus.Certifications in Linux, Java, Web Development, AWS desirable but not required.Ai tool usage.Development mindset, scaling into developer with minimal training.Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication.
