The role of a Design Manager - US is to oversee all aspects of design and creative output.This includes ensuring that design deliverables are aligned with client expectations and executed within stipulated timeframes.Main responsibilities include:Planning layout and conceptualising interior fit-outs for commercial and residential spaces.Managing a team of interior designers and 3D visualizers to produce drawings and designs according to client requirements.Understanding client needs, engaging with clients and overseeing projects from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams for smooth project execution.Selecting material finishes and obtaining client approval.Creating schedules for projects, including furniture, lighting fixtures, carpets etc.Coordinating with graphic designers for wallpaper designs and other graphical elements as per client feedback.Knowledge of working drawings and site coordination.The ideal candidate should have:4+ years experience in designing corporate and residential spaces, knowledge of interior elements and building structure.Strong design sense.Familiarity with design codes across different states in the USA.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet daily, weekly and long-term objectives.Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on high-profile projects.Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills to convey design concepts to clients.Process-oriented approach with the ability to motivate team members.Superior decision-making and problem-solving skills.Comprehensive knowledge of materials, costing and GFC details.Client engagement understanding.Technical drawing expertise.Ability to multitask.
