Forecasting Expert RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive the development of advanced statistical models for demand planning and forecasting across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable forecasting solutions that capture multi-regional business needs and deliver high accuracy.Provide actionable insights to optimize inventory planning, reduce bias, and drive process maturity.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for forecasting performance, ensuring continuous improvement.Collaborate with regional teams to standardize forecasting practices and promote best-in-class methodologies.Support automation initiatives in demand planning processes using data science techniques.Conduct root cause analysis for forecast deviations and develop corrective actions.Communicate complex analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels to inform strategic decisions.Required Skills & QualificationsAdvanced background in demand planning, forecasting, and statistical modeling.Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms.Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in multi-country or regional planning environments is a significant advantage.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in forecasting.Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.Experience with big data processing and analytics.
