Cloud Data Engineering SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Engineering Specialist to lead our data solutions team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure data architectures using AWS and Snowflake.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise in cloud implementations, data migration, and data warehousing concepts will enable you to deliver high-quality data-driven insights to stakeholders.About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and delivery. You should have strong experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark, as well as good understanding of data ingestion and processing frameworks.Your proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and AWS (Glue, EMR, S3, Aurora, RDS, AWS architecture) will be essential in designing and deploying efficient data pipelines. Additionally, your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is crucial.Design and develop scalable and secure data architectures using AWS and SnowflakeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and securityOptimize data storage and retrieval processes to support data warehousing and analyticsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineersWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insightsRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS and SnowflakeStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practicesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersIn addition, we prefer candidates with experience in the insurance industry, particularly those with knowledge of claims and loss processes.
