Cost Analyst RoleAbout this positionWe are seeking a highly skilled cost analyst to support our organization in thread manufacturing and structural components for apparel and footwear.As a cost analyst, you will be responsible for transitioning business unit level costing activities to finance, performing product costing activities within our enterprise resource planning system (ERP) for markets with centralized costing, and establishing processes for analysis of variances (price & factory).You will also provide support and guidance for inventory valuation, including calculation of capitalized variances and stock provisions, and collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues in processes or reports.Main Responsibilities:Transition of business unit level costing activities to financeResponsible for product costing activities performed within the ERP systemEstablish process for analysis of variances (price & factory)Provide support and guidance for inventory valuationKey Requirements:Certified/Qualified Accountant: An accountant certified by a professional accounting body (Chartered accountant or Cost and Management Accountant)University DegreeA minimum of eight years of post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organizationBenefits:Becoming part of a global leader in the textile industryOpportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
