Summary:
The Internal Controls Analyst will report to the Internal Controls Management team in the United States and will primarily focus on administrative tasks related to the annual SOX program, except for the execution of testing. They will support the Internal Controls Management team by assisting with various duties, including executing projects to maintain and improve the internal controls environment, managing administrative tasks related to the governance process of Alteryx workflows, routine policy maintenance of the Delegation of Authority (DOA), and performing a segregation of duties (SOD) analysis for the principal system of records.
What will you do:
- Initiate projects related to the SOX program and assist with following up on outstanding tasks.
- Manage the governance process for Alteryx by reviewing and evaluating workflow submissions, communicating with submitters to address any missing information or obtain any necessary support to ensure completeness, and preparing agendas for reoccurring meetings related to the governance process.
- Manage proposals for changes and handle feedback provided regarding the DOA.
- Perform a comprehensive analysis to identify potential SOD conflicts and risks associated with sensitive access in the ERP system for any new users added or changes made to user roles and provide results to the Internal Controls Management for further analysis.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings as requested by the Internal Controls Management team.
- Regularly communicate project status updates to the Internal Controls Management team.
- Perform basic research, provide general administrative support, and participate in special projects as needed.

Required skills:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Accounting, Audit, SOX Compliance, or other business-related activity.
- Background in one or more of the following systems is preferred: Audit Board, Alteryx, Oracle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge or experience in data preparation, data analytics, or other related activities is preferred.
- Must be proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline required.
