Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data pipelines to ingest and model data from various sources, including Shopify, GA4, ESP, CRM, and ad platforms. Define event taxonomy, identity graphs, and data contracts to ensure seamless data flow.Develop feature engineering capabilities to build offline and online features for predictive analytics, clustering, and propensity modeling. Ensure parity with a feature store and model registry.Establish reproducible training pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt, incorporating experiment tracking, hyperparameter search, and evaluation metrics.Deploy models to managed services, package them in Docker containers, and set up CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. Implement blue-green deployment patterns and rollback strategies.Orchestrate jobs using Airflow or Prefect, manage dependencies, SLAs, and retries. Design backfills and incremental loads to maintain data consistency.Implement data quality checks using Great Expectations and dbt tests. Monitor model performance and drift, set up alerting systems, and establish cost guardrails.Develop and deploy fast, robust APIs using FastAPI or Cloud Functions to push signals into Meta CAPI, Google Ads, or TikTok Events API. Utilize reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census.Partner with product teams to design and execute uplift tests, holdouts, and calibration experiments to measure incremental value. Create runbooks, ERDs, and playbooks to document processes and enable self-service.
