Position: Siebel Developer Location BengaluruEngagement Type: Permanent /Full-time Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly specialized and product-focused Software Engineer to join our core development team. The primary mission is to design, build, and maintain our proprietary Siebel Smart Connector—the mission-critical product that seamlessly embeds Genesys Cloud communication capabilities directly into the Siebel CRM interface.This role requires a unique blend of elite modern JavaScript/TypeScript engineering and deep functional expertise within the Siebel platform to deliver a fluid, all-in-one agent experience for our enterprise clients.Core Responsibilities (Bridging CTI and Siebel)Siebel Product Development: Serve as the technical expert responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the core Siebel Smart Connector.Frontend Integration: Utilize modern frontend frameworks (React/TSX, HTML/CSS) to build custom, highly responsive UI elements that surface real-time CTI events (e.g., screen pops, call controls) directly within the Siebel application.API Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust API integrations (REST) between the Genesys Cloud platform and Siebel's data layer, ensuring strong typing, reliable control flow (async/await), and resilient communication logic (retries, timeouts).Siebel Data Fluency: Utilize platform-specific knowledge to efficiently access, query, and enrich data payloads from the Siebel repository, ensuring fast and accurate data insights for the contact center agent.DevOps & Quality: Implement and uphold rigorous dev-process practices, including Git-based collaboration, automated testing, and comprehensive logging for complex asynchronous pipelines to ensure 24/7 reliability.CTI Subject Matter Expert: Apply deep functional understanding of CTI concepts (queues, agents, skills, routing, softphone) to optimize how the connector handles real-time interaction management.Required Technical QualificationsA. Siebel Platform Expertise (The Specialized Skill)Proven ability to navigate the Siebel CRM platform from a developer perspective, including understanding its core architecture, data model, and customization layers.Direct experience with Siebel-specific development tools and integration points (e.g., Siebel Open UI customization, Siebel EAI, Siebel Web Services) is highly desirable.Ability to integrate custom UI components into the Siebel application without extensive ramp-up time.B.
