As Director of Engineering , you will lead a team of managers and senior engineers in developing cutting‑edge data analytics and platform solutions. You’ll be hands‑on with architecture, design and development, driving projects from 0 to 1 while aligning with customer needs and business goals. Responsibilities Lead a team of managers and senior engineers to build SaaS applications and platform solutions from scratch. Be hands‑on in architecture, design, and development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Navigate uncertainty, prioritise features, and drive projects toward clear, measurable goals. Focus on customer-centric development, ensuring solutions meet real user needs and enable business outcomes. Foster a growth mindset, mentor engineers and engineering leaders, and establish best practices. Collaborate with product management and leadership teams to ensure alignment between engineering execution and business strategy. Requirements 15+ years in technology, with 10+ years in leadership/technical leadership roles. Strong track record in architecture and design of complex, scalable systems. Proven experience building a SaaS application or platform solution from 0 to 1 (end‑to‑end product engineering: concept → architecture → launch → scale). Experience leading and managing engineering teams of 40‑50+ engineers or equivalent managers. Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a strong customer‑focus and business acumen. Excellent communication and team management skills, comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional leadership.
