Job Scope:

This is a full-time on-site role as a System Engineering SME specializing in Cybersecurity domain. As a member of the Yotta IT Engineering team located in Panvel, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, maintaining, and supporting complex datacenter infrastructure, platforms, and applications, keep the cybersecurity angle on. Design, Evaluate, Enhance, Automate, related to systems related to cybersecurity platforms and technologies, you will also be responsible for providing technical leadership to the team and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide innovative services in the market, to keep the first mover advantage.

Job Responsibilities

System Engineering SME - Cybersecurity

  • Provides technical expertise in arena of cybersecurity and specially in (Fortinet, PaloAlto, Cisco, CheckPoint, IBM QRadar ,Symantec, McAfee, Websense, RSA, Arcsight, Tipping point, Arbor, Radware,F5 and Bluecoat, Fortinet, PaloAlto, Cisco, CheckPoint, IBM QRadar etc.)
  • Development of program requirements relating to Cybersecurity with conjunction with - information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.
  • Designs, plans, implements, handover service or platforms.
  • Provides specifications and detailed schematics for system architecture.
  • Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Conducts testing of system design.
  • Evaluates and reports on new technologies to enhance capabilities of the existing systems.
  • Ensures the quality of the work produced maintains the highest standards.
  • Communicated with cross functional teams to better functioning.
  • Participates in the development of the technical solution through the mandated processes.
  • Participate in program readiness and design reviews for marquee customers
  • Attend technical and programmatic meetings with customers, system users, development team members and represent the organization in matters pertaining to the project.
  • Participates in the Engineering Review Board for technical review of Engineering Change Requests
    • Analyze, provide cyber security technical capabilities and execute cyber security activities around Cybersecurity technology, process, controls, standards and regulatory requirements.

Must Have Skill:

  • In depth knowledge of Cybersecurity portfolio including Firewall, UTMs, IDS, IPS, VPNS, IAM, DLP, Antivirus, Honeypots, SIEM, WAF, Linux, Unix, scripting, system tools, automation tools, security framework
  • Strong understanding on network technology.

Security management Patching and upgradation of Linux servers.

Strong knowledge of Security fundamentals, including diagnostics with tools

  • Experience in conducting system engineering, and analytical activities using structured techniques.
  • Experience in applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to solve problems.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including executive level customers, users, and other peer groups.
  • Project skills including cost, schedule, as well as risk and opportunity analysis, tracking and mitigation.
  • DevOps experience including IT Infrastructure and SW development using Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Holding at least one industry-standard information security management certification from a vendor or product neutral certification entity.
  • Create readily demonstrable demos and develop POCs for Security portfolio.
  • Solutions – Leverage existing portfolio and expand the horizon for the Security space by actively working with various OEM and Product teams in understanding Gaps and bridge the same with various alternatives.
  • Insights - Work with Engineering and Support teams needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world customer challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption of the client's Security services and drive greater value from use of the same.
  • Interpreting and applying appropriate Standards, Policies and Legislation, e.g. ISO27001, PCI/DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, etc
  • Conversant with the requirements of compliances like SOX and PCI DSS
  • Enthusiastic and energetic performer able to work in a fast-paced, highly visible setting.
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with limited oversight.
  • Understanding of how to adapt Agile processes to customer culture and requirements.
  • Aling it IT Service management and perform problem and escalation management due to major incident and outages.

Qualification and Experience:

B.E/MCA/Graduation/Diploma in Engineering

Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience.
