Record to Report Manager Job DescriptionRole: Record to Report Manager Location: Bengaluru Qualification:Graduate or postgraduate degree in accounting with a minimum of 12 years of experience in record to report.Candidates should have a good understanding of accounting concepts and principles.Advanced written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.Strong analytical skills are required to interpret data and engagement requirements.Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is necessary.Experience with automated accounting systems (e.g. Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, Tally) is required.Blackline experience is an added advantage.Responsibilities:The Record to Report Manager will be the key point of contact for clients related to Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Month End Close cycles.He/She will lead, manage, and coach client services representatives and associates.Reviewing monthly journal entries prepared by support staff for prepaid expenses, fixed asset, accrued expenses, payroll, and/or inventory transactions in an accurate and timely manner.Approving bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations as per requirements.Preparing/Reviewing client's monthly financial statements including month over month variance analysis and/or actual to budget analysis.Analysing and interpreting financial information for client management and providing actionable insights and decision support.Continuously identifying opportunities to enhance client's monthly operations and suggesting process improvements.Defining and documenting repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future projects.Understanding our technology stack and identifying additional add-on processes, systems, modules, and integrations that can drive month end close efficiencies.A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing project teams.Strong knowledge and experience in transitioning processes.
