Job OverviewThis role involves supporting research projects, conducting data collection and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting in project execution. The Associate Researcher will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs for diverse development programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting research projects, including data collection, data analysis, and report preparation.Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.Designing and reviewing study methodologies, managing research databases, and contributing to the development of tools and frameworks for monitoring and evaluation.Preparing detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.Research and analytical skills, including expertise in data collection, data analysis, and preparing detailed reports.Experience in project management, monitoring frameworks, and creating evaluation methodologies.Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to documentation and quality assurance.Familiarity with thematic areas such as public health, sanitation, renewable energy, or livelihoods is a plus.Proficiency with quantitative and qualitative research tools and software such as R, Python, NVivo, or SPSS is desirable.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote settings, meeting deadlines efficiently.Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess strong research and analytical skills, including expertise in data collection, data analysis, and report preparation.
