Job OpportunityThis role entails spearheading the development and execution of a business intelligence strategy, utilizing data to drive informed decision-making and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.The position requires expertise in business intelligence tools, data visualization, and strong collaboration skills to deliver actionable insights across various departments.Main Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Oversee data analysis activities, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract valuable insights and inform strategic decisions.Create and manage detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information.Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Lead a team of business intelligence professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Manage data mapping, data reconciliation, and data conversion processes.Prepare budget forecasts and monitor expenditure of allocated funds.Recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, and staffing.Oversee the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems.Create and maintain network and database infrastructure.Ensure stable operation of the network and databases through regular updates and functionality tests, identifying and resolving any issues that arise during testing.Schedule and produce periodic reports on MIS performance.Review reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans.Leadership Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of a small staff of supervisory and non-supervisory personnel.Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.Master's degree preferred.10-15 years' experience in MIS with data leadership driving business value through data analytics in Fintech Industry.Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Amazon Quicksight, Power BI, or similar platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex data visualizations.Strong data analysis skills, including data mining, SQL, and data modeling. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a plus.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings to executives, and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.Knowledge of data governance best practices, data quality management, and compliance with data privacy regulations.Hands-on experience with Microsoft applications – particularly Visual Basic, Macro, MS Advanced Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint, SQL, Business Intelligence toolsets.
