EDI Director

This role combines technical expertise, project management, and collaboration to implement, manage, and optimize EDI systems and workflows.Key responsibilities include:Setting up, maintaining, and configuring partner integrations for seamless data exchangeMaintaining optimal system performance through regular monitoring and troubleshootingImplementing EDI standards and new transaction types based on business requirements for efficient operationsEvaluating EDI processes for opportunities to improve data flows for efficiency and ease-of-useThis role also involves:Participating and leading EDI implementation initiatives and projects with cross-functional teamsCollaborating with SAP teams and EDI providers to drive innovation and excellenceWorking with 3PL and other EDI stakeholders to ensure successful integrationProviding technical support, training internal teams, and enhancing their abilities to resolve EDI issues independentlyRequirements include:Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines and deliver resultsAt least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions, including working with warehouse and logistics transactions
