Job DescriptionRole: Ingenium DeveloperWho are we looking for?Looking for Senior Ingenium Developer with 10+ years' experience and following skillsTechnical Skills:Experience in Mainframe O/S and Development using COBOL programming language & JCLExperience in development and setting up Universal Life product using Ingenium 6.x or above versionExperience in customization to Ingenium in Mainframes, Windows and AIX Operating systems, prefer Ingenium 7.X exposureScripting using REXXDB2, PL/SQL experienceExperience working in Agile / Kanban workExperience using GIT Bitbucket, Docker, etc.High knowledge of Canadian Life Insurance productsProcess Skills:The Ingenium Senior Developer will work alongside other Legacy IT professionals to participate in the design and delivery of New sales and Policy Servicing functionality on Ingenium 7.7 platform, across various product categories.This role will be responsible for software development, unit testing and support for systems and integration testing. The candidate will leverage proven technical competency to ensure effective delivery of custom solution on Ingenium Platform. The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada / India and will have a track record of working in agile based projects, working in cross - functional and geographically dispersed teams, to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.Additional Skills:Legacy Technical Analysis: Technical analysis of legacy Ingenium 5.4 platform for code conversion, code reviews, coding and testing activitiesBacklog grooming: Work with scrum masters to groom user stories and estimations.Technical architecture, analysis and design: collaborate with architecture group to understand firm-wide code standards and guidelines, facilitate peer reviews.Additional Skills:Legacy Technical Analysis: Technical analysis of legacy Ingenium 5.4 platform for code conversion, code reviews, coding and testing activitiesBacklog grooming: Work with scrum masters to groom user stories and estimations.Technical architecture, analysis and design: collaborate with architecture group to understand firm-wide code standards and guidelines, facilitate peer reviews.Behavioral Skills:Minimum 10 years of (technical) experience in Ingenium 6.5 version and aboveAbility to communicate effectively with sprint stakeholders, scrum masters, partners and customersStrong analytical skills to determine and document technical specificationsDepth of knowledge on products from multiple lines of business; experience with Ingenium policy administration system will be preferredProven ability to learn and handle multiple priorities in a challenging work environmentCertification:Minimum 10 years of (technical) experience in Ingenium 6.5 version and aboveEducation qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
