Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientific Presentation Specialist to join our editorial production team as a full-time contractor.The ideal candidate will have a doctoral or master's degree in a biomedical or life science-related field, excellent English communication skills, and experience with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.Key Responsibilities:Designing and creating engaging seminar-style animated audio-visual presentations using PowerPoint.Working with source material provided by producers and experts in their fields.Replacing copyrighted images or recreating images.Spotting mistakes and finding solutions in-house.Basic audio editing.Coordinate and work with other teams involved in the production process.Qualifications and RequisitesBasic Qualifications:A biomedical/life science-related doctoral or master's degree (PhD or M.Sc).Excellent English: high standards in writing and verbal communication.Excellent reading comprehension and ability to concisely convey main points.Well-developed aesthetic feel for the use of colour and design in communication.Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint in particular.Ability to convert written points into graphic form.Strong typographical and composition skills.High level of self-motivation in the pursuit of excellence.Meticulous attention to detail.Additional Qualifications and SkillsAdvantages:Official English accreditation (minimum of 6.5 in IELTS or minimum of 85 in TOEFL).Vast and proven experience in medical communications or education.Portfolio or work samples (PowerPoint presentations).Knowledge of graphic software (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator).Knowledge of audio editing software (Audacity).Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
