The role involves working closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and solution architects to deliver scalable and high-performing business solutions aligned with organizational and client needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Solution Design & Development- Develop and customize solutions in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) using X++, C#, and. NET frameworks.- Extend standard functionalities through extensions, custom entities, forms, workflows, and reports.- Work on data entities, integrations, and custom service interfaces to connect D365 F&O with external systems.- Implement business logic using Azure services, Power Platform, and Dataverse integration where applicable.2. Integration & Deployment- Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems (CRM, Power BI, third-party APIs).- Work with Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration and automation.- Support deployment, build pipelines, and environment management using Azure Dev Ops.3. Technical Support & Maintenance- Provide L2/L3 technical support for D365 F&O issues and enhancements.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and functional issues.- Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and upgrade validation.4. Collaboration & Documentation- Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Prepare technical design documents (TDDs), configuration guides, and deployment documentation.- Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and templates for faster project delivery.5. Innovation & Optimization- Identify automation and performance improvement opportunities within D365 F&O.- Explore integration with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or AI/ML-based insights for enhanced business value.- Stay current on Microsoft product updates, roadmap changes, and feature enhancements.Required Skills & Experience:- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / AX 2012 development.- Strong proficiency in X++, C#,. NET, SQL, and Azure Dev Ops.- Experience with extensions-based customization and model-driven architecture.- Familiarity with D365 F&O data model, data entities, and Data Management Framework (DMF).- Understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing modules.- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization skills.- Experience integrating with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).Good-to-Have Skills:- Experience with Microsoft Copilot for D365, AI Builder, or Power BI Embedded.- Exposure to Dev Ops automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release management in Azure Dev Ops.- Knowledge of Data Lake and Synapse Analytics integration with D365.- Familiarity with Gen AI-driven use cases for documentation automation, code assist, or log analysis.- Microsoft Certification: MB-500 (Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate).Education:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.Soft Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Ability to work in agile delivery environments.- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
