Role Overview We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our high-performance Finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency as DriveU scales rapidly across India. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and journal entries. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and internal reporting standards. Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting, cost analysis, and internal audits. Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities as needed. Drive process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred). 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-growing startup or tech environment. Strong knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books or similar ERP systems. Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment Why DriveU?
