Visual Art LeadThe role of a Visual Art Lead is to oversee game art content, ensuring high-quality visual elements. This position involves an individual with proven ability to work on game art and manage a team of artists.Main Responsibilities:Art Direction: Define and own the art vision, style guides, and visual identity for the game(s).Concept Development: Create concept art, mood boards, key frames, style frames, and reference guides to communicate direction.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of artists (2D, VFX, UI/UX) — hiring, performance reviews, training.Pipeline Optimization: Oversee all art production pipelines, scheduling, and task distribution to ensure timely delivery.Collaboration: Collaborate with game designers, engineers, and product managers to align art with mechanics, UX, monetization, and performance budgets.Quality Assurance: Review and approve art assets (character models, environments, props, animations, UI, effects) to maintain quality, consistency & technical feasibility.Performance Enhancement: Optimize art assets for mobile performance (poly count, draw calls, texture resolution, LODs).Visual Innovation: Push visual innovation: explore new techniques, shaders, workflows, effects, rendering styles.This position requires a strong portfolio showing a variety of game art styles, polished final assets, and concept-to-delivery work. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in creating game art, with at least 5 years at senior level or above. We are looking for someone who can drive artistic excellence and lead our team to deliver top-notch visuals.
