Job OverviewWe are seeking a visionary AI Engineer to lead the development of our core intelligence platform.Design and implement cutting-edge semantic search pipelines, graph-based retrieval systems, and agentic solutions.Develop scalable APIs and services capable of serving hundreds of concurrent requests, driving business growth and efficiency.Architect, implement, and productionize vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systems, ensuring seamless data integration.Collaborate on GenAI integrations, including react agents, graph agents, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration, pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence.Establish full-stack search engines from scratch, handling real-world academic workloads with precision and speed.Contribute directly to our infrastructure, making groundbreaking science more accessible and efficient.Key Responsibilities:Strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval, with a focus on innovation and scalability.Skilled in Python for backend development, with expertise in building high-performance APIs and services that drive business outcomes.Past experience deploying complex systems at scale, including search engines, retrieval pipelines, and embedding models, with a track record of success.Ability to design and optimize infrastructure serving hundreds of concurrent requests, ensuring speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.Experience setting up and hosting public-facing APIs, balancing speed, cost, and reliability while driving business growth.Research-driven and pragmatic mindset, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
