Distributed Database – Sales EngineerWe are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical side of the sales cycle for our distributed database platform.This is an exciting opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with customer engagement, solution prototyping, and architecture advisory.Key Responsibilities:Engage with prospective customers to understand business drivers, technical challenges, and solution goals.Deliver presentations, whiteboarding, POCs, and competitive evaluations.Design scalable architectures for distributed database workloads.Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align customer needs with product capabilities.Lead workshops, support pilots, and guide customers throughout the evaluation cycle.Represent the product in meetups, developer trainings, and community events.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excellent customer-facing communication skills, capable of engaging developers, architects, and CXOs.Strong understanding of Linux environments and enterprise system architecture.Experience with distributed systems — caching, in-memory computing, data grids, or NoSQL.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Kubernetes, Docker).Proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or Python.Background in mission-critical, low-latency systems within finance, telecom, or eCommerce.Benefits:Travel up to 60% for customer meetings, workshops, and conferences.Thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.Locations: Bangalore & Mumbai.
