RoleExecutive / Senior Executive – Compensation, Payroll & MISReporting to: Lead – C&B, PMSWorkplace ClassificationCorporate – Office (Bangalore) SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARYSupport the design, execution, and governance of payroll, compensation, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely insights for management.SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIESPayroll ProcessingHandle end-to-end domestic payroll independently, ensuring accuracy in salary computation and payouts.Manage inputs such as attendance, new joiners, exits, variable pay, and recoveries.Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and coordinate with Finance for final payments.Validate calculation logic for earning and deduction heads to ensure alignment with company policy.Manage final settlements for resigned employees.Statutory ComplianceCompute and validate statutory deductions including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Income Tax.Prepare and file quarterly TDS return (Form 24Q) on behalf of employer and handle TRACES-related notices.Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reporting.Support year-end activities such as Form 16 issuance and tax reconciliation.MIS & ReportingPrepare and maintain monthly payroll MIS, dashboards, and reconciliation reports.Generate analytical reports for management review (headcount, cost trends, overtime, etc.).Maintain accurate employee data and payroll master files in HRMS.Employee SupportAct as first point of contact for payroll and statutory deduction queries.Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues.Automation & Process ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.Support digitization of reports, dashboards, and approvals.SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONSInternal StakeholderPurpose of InteractionHR Talent Acquisition & Business PartnersFor employee data, onboarding, exits, issue resolution.Finance & AccountsFor TDS deposits, budgeting, reconciliations, and statutory filings.Shared Services TeamFor system access, HRMS issues, and automation support.Employees For payroll and tax-related queries.External StakeholderPurpose of InteractionStatutory authoritiesEPFO, ESIC, Income Tax Department for compliance coordination.AuditorsFor providing payroll and compliance data during reviews.SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEKNOWLEDGEMinimum Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in commerce / finance / HRLanguage Skills :English & HindiEXPERIENCEYears of Experience : 2-5 yearsNature of ExperienceEnd-to-end experience in HR operations, payroll management, compensation & benefits, statutory compliance Exposure to HR systems (SuccessFactors) is preferredSECTION VI: TECHNICAL & LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLESKILLSTechnical/Functional/BehavioralSkills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRMS/payroll systems. (SuccessFactors preferred)Working knowledge of statutory compliance basic accounting principles.Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.Immediate Joinee preferred.
