About LokalIn 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren't really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they'd come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.This spark became Lokal. Collaborates with teams to develop creative concepts, produce high-quality graphics, and ensure brand consistency. Manages multiple projects and delivers on timelines.ResponsibilitiesConceptualize and design: Create visual concepts for a wide range of media, including websites, Thumbnails, Logos, advertisements and banners.Collaborate with others: Work with clients, project managers, copywriters, marketers, and other creative professionals to understand project needs and develop designs that meet goals.Produce visuals: Create layouts, select fonts and colors, and develop original images and illustrations.Prepare files: Ensure final designs are prepared correctly for their intended use, whether it's for print, a website, or another digital platform.Maintain brand guidelines: Ensure all visual output is consistent with a company's brand identity and visual guidelines.Manage projects: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.Requirements2–5 years of proven experience in graphic or visual design.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, etc.) or Figma.Strong understanding of layout, color theory, and typography.Ability to translate ideas and briefs into creative visual outputs.Experience designing for both digital and print platforms.Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
