Data Engineer (Python & SQL)

My client, a listed wealth management firm, is seeking Data Engineers to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and models that enable smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you'll leverage modern data tools, cloud technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and reliable data solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Build & optimize ETL/ELT pipelines (Python, SQL, Airflow).
  • Design and maintain data models & warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse).
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Optimize SQL queries, performance tune databases, and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with analysts, scientists & DevOps; mentor junior engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Experience with data lakes, warehouses, and orchestration tools (Airflow/Talend).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Bonus: PySpark, Docker, CI/CD, and monitoring tools (Grafana, CloudWatch).
