ROLE
Responsible for providing legal support and assisting with various legal functions. He/she will also be responsible for co-ordinating with the other departments with regards to research, documentation and all the legal work associated with the company.
Day to day responsibility for drafting various contracts, negotiating them with third parties (if any) with the team and concluding them in tight deadlines;
Providing timely legal advice, analysis and support on commercial and contractual matters taking into account the commercial environment;
Extraction of various copyrights for the purpose of ingestion of such rights for effective maintenance of records and exploitation of such rights. Understanding of licensing contracts is a must.
To minimize risk and proactively protecting the company’s interest and assets
To provide litigation support and to manage outside counsel optimally in a focused, efficient and effective manner
Co-ordinates with intra departments of the company in respect of commercial and contractual matters where appropriate to ensure that all relevant legal issues are identified and appropriate support is provided
Understand tax and regulatory structure of the company and be able to safeguard the company from exposure in the contracts.
Conduct Due diligence on potential collaborations, partnerships, and projects to assess intellectual property implications and risks
Script and Content Review to ensure that all relevant legal issues are identified and appropriate support is provided
