Procurement Manager PositionWe are seeking a seasoned Procurement Operations Lead to spearhead end-to-end purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials in alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily purchasing activities including PO creation, approvals, and order tracking.Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and compliance with external regulations.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking.Work closely with the planning team to ensure demand fulfillment.Cost Optimization & Budget ManagementAnalyze market trends, pricing patterns, and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities.Partner with central sourcing teams to negotiate competitive pricing and optimize procurement spend.Implement effective cost control measures while maintaining quality benchmarks.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with product development teams for alternate materials and supplier onboarding.Partner with finance teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives.Support new product launches by ensuring material readiness.Ensure availability of long lead time and imported materials through proactive planning.Risk Management & ReportingIdentify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.Generate and present periodic reports on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost efficiencies.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Packaging Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).6–10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or D2C environments.Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
