Job Opportunity:We are building a full engineering team in India to accelerate our growth. This team will collaborate with our global engineering teams to strengthen and expand our existing product and build new lines of business.You will work closely with our Product and Data Science teams to design and maintain multiple technologies, including APIs, credit scoring systems, payments integrations, and operations tools.We face complex technical challenges such as maintaining financial systems and processing creative data sources for our algorithmic credit model.We value innovation and decentralized decision-making: We believe the best ideas can come from anyone in the company, and we are working hard to create an environment where everyone feels empowered to propose solutions.Responsibilities:Developing APIs and backend systems for our mobile apps.Integrating with third-party systems, including payment gateways, identity providers, and messaging platforms.BUILDING NEW FINANCIAL PRODUCTSScaling our backend services to meet growing traffic and complexity.Requirements:3-8 years of experience building backend software for web-based or mobile products.Experience leveraging AI tools for efficiency and effectivenessStrong knowledge of software development fundamentals, including computer science principles, distributed systems, data storage, and agile methodologies.A pragmatic approach combining technology and product needs to find the best solution.An entrepreneurial mindset taking ownership of your impact. Proactively solving problems before they arise.Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Startups are a team effort. Listening to others, speaking up when needed, and asking the right questions.Comfortable working in a distributed team and company, collaborating with colleagues worldwide.Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architectures integrating disparate data sources.Strong command of data modeling and organization best practices.Hands-on experience with toolstacks like dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Metabase, etc.Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python.
